The Tattoo Lady is a 1940s showmans living van that was restored over 5 years. Most of the features are original from that time period, the original lay out, furniture, kitchen appliances ect. We named her tattoo Lady after a song by the late great Rory Gallagher and we have pictures and lp records to play in memory of this great musician. The layout is simple, you walk into the kitchen, through into the living room with a log burning stove two single armchairs and a two seater. There is a TV for playing dvds, a radio and a record player. The bedroom has a small double bed (6×4ft) and a dressing table.

The toilet and shower is outside around the back . The toilet is a compost toilet using wood shavings and the shower water is heated using a gas boiler. Towels and bedding are provided.
Some breakfast items ie bread , milk, cheese , butter, tea and coffee etc. will be provided on arrival.
You can visit our organic veg garden and herbal apothecary if this interests you.

Tattoo Lady

The kitchen has a double ring gas hob, and we equipped with a kettle, a small selection of pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils as well as condiments and oil. Tea, coffee and sugar are also provided.
